Cassie was very nervous when she first came to me for her bridal alterations and I am so glad I got to meet the true girl behind the fear by her final fitting.
Afraid to visit bridal stores she purchased her dress online and found it needed extensive alterations to compliment her shape. I am so glad she came to me for help!
To compliment her curves, I decided to strip the dress back completely, working with just the corset base to correct first. With this we added stronger boning, stronger panelling and also better shaping for her bust to fall softer and give her support.
The next stage was to rebuild the dress with all the appliques and adding a bespoke draped sleeve. Taking off the lace to begin with allowed me to better line up the floral details to give Cassie a softer finish.
The dress still had its initial design but the alterations made fully complimented her figure making it not just comfortable to wear but also giving Cassie the confidence she wanted for her big day.
It was a true honour working with Cassidy to see how much she changed in confidence, self love and trust throughout the fitting process. Seeing her glow on her wedding day was some of the best pictures I have ever received!
