Life Update: Navigating the Joys and Challenges of Embracing the Newborn Bubble

It's official... I'm now a mother, and I still find it hard to believe that my body nurtured this beautiful little boy.

Adjusting hasn't been the easiest, dealing with an infection on my C-section scar, the concern over increasing our boy's weight, and navigating the challenges of motherhood in general...

New mum life, cuddles galore

But you know what?

Every small milestone we've had to learn and manage has been worth it, and looking back, we've been doing just fine!

Personally, I've been incredibly fortunate to have a wonderfully supportive husband who quickly adapted to dealing with baby messes and diaper changes. (He was thrown into the deep end since I had limited mobility after surgery!)

He's also excellent at keeping me calm during stressful times and actively participating in dad duties!

We are now 9 weeks in, and our little scrunch isn't so little anymore. It's amazing how quickly time is passing, but I'm trying to cherish every cuddle, smile, and new skill my little one is learning before I return to the studio in the autumn.

At the moment, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to spend the summer with him and enjoy our new life as a family of three.

For brides-to-be seeking alterations or custom pieces, I'm still accepting enquiries and will send out quotes during his nap times! Please be patient if there are slight delays in my responses to enquiries.

A special thanks to our families, RUH birthing ward staff, chippenham maternity ward and friends who have supported us on our little life adventure so far. Its been crazy but the best.
